Brief Profile:
Dr. Aparna has received Bachelor of Science (CBZ) degree in 1996 and M.Sc. degree in 1998 with specialization in Inorganic Chemistry. She was awarded Ph.D. Degree in 2002 from Karnatak University, Dharwad, for the research topic “Development of Novel Methods for the Assay of some Drugs of Pharmaceutical interest”. She has cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Chemical Sciences in 1999. She has about twelve years of teaching experience.

Aparna teaches Applied Chemistry, Environmental engineering and also Basic Civil and Environmental Engineering. She has varied experience in teaching Inorganic chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Environmental Studies at undergraduate level. She has also handled administrative responsibilities. She has worked as an active member of Cultural Gathering. She worked as a member of the Organizing Committee of the 46th Annual Conference of AMTI and National Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology held at VPCOE in Feb. 2012. She is a life member of ISTE and is currently working over a book on Engineering Chemistry. She is Assistant Professor of Applied chemistry.
Research Interests:
Drinking water Analysis, Lead analysis in pencil paints, lipsticks and lak ornaments, pharmaceutical drug content analysis in biological samples like blood and urine.
