Brief Profile:
 
Mr. Dilip G. Patil completed his B. E. in Civil Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University and M. Tech (Civil) with specialization in Town and Country Planning from College of Engineering, Pune. He has worked in Construction field (JMC Projects India Ltd.) at various Infrastructure development projects including National Highways and Flyovers. He has worked for Integrated District Development Plan (IDDP) for Idukki District in Kerala, with College of Engineering, Pune. He has taught in Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune. He has worked as a Staff Coordinator for the State Level Technical event which was held on 6 March, 2012 in Department of Civil Engineering. Dilip is in-charge of Fluid Mechanics and Engineering Geology Lab. He teaches Fluid Mechanics-I and II, Project Management and Engineering Economics, Infrastructure Engineering and Construction Techniques, Basic Civil and Environmental Engineering, Engineering Geology, Architecture and Town Planning. He has guided about 20 undergraduate students for their project works and about 40 students for seminar work.

Dilip has been working as an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department since August 2011.

Regional Planning, Construction Management, Fluid Mechanics, Project Management, Infrastructure Engineering, Town Planning, Hydrology and Water resources Engineering and Dams and Hydraulics Structures.

Prof. Dilip G. Patil has participated in AICTE approved National level short term training programme on ‘Evaluation of existing Dams and Action plan for restoration’ held at Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune -411041, from February 6-10, 2006.

Prof. Dilip G. Patil has participated in 2 days ISTE Workshop on ‘Aakash tablets for Education’ under National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD, Govt. of India) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology - Bombay from November 10th to November 11th, 2012 at the Remote centre: VPCOE, Baramati.

Prof. Dilip G. Patil has participated in 2 Day ISTE Workshop on ‘Research Methods in Educational Technology’ under the National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD, Govt. of India) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology - Bombay on 2nd & 9th February 2013 at the Remote centre: VPCOE, Baramati.

Prof. Dilip G. Patil has participated in TWO-Day Faculty development Programme on ‘Laboratory Experiments in Fluid Mechanics-II’ organized by ‘Department of Civil Engineering – VIIT Pune (Kondhwa Pune) on 11 & 12 June 2013.

Prof. D. G. Patil has participated in ‘Two week Main Workshop on Fluid Mechanics’ which will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur from 20 May to 30 May 2014 under ‘National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD), Govt of India at VPCOE Remote Centre. http://www.nmeict.iitkgp.ernet.in/mechanicalmain.php

Prof. D. G. Patil has participated in QIP Short Term Course on ‘FUNDAMENTALS OF FLUID MECHANICS THROUGH EXPERIMENTS’ held in IIT-B between May 11 -15, 2015.
